In simple terms current government legislation demands that your premises have an asbestos survey and a management plan to ensure that you don’t expose anyone to asbestos. (Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006)

All you need to do is commission an asbestos survey which is inclusive of a management plan and advice on the way forward and you will protect yourself and others who work with you.

If you do not comply, the consequences may involve:
Closure of your premises
Personal fines of up to £20,000
Disqualification as a director
A prison sentence

Why?
Over 70 people a week die in the UK of asbestos related diseases.
A quarter of the dead worked in building and maintenance trades.
According to the HSE, very week:

    G&A Environmental has been an affiliate of the BHOS since 2009.
    The BOHS is one of the biggest occupational hygiene societies worldwide and promotes the recognition, assessment and control of health risks from workplace exposure to hazards.
